Your 5 years old lying down in your single mother's bed. The air conditioner blows lightly as you rustle in the sheets. As your mom reads, she hums and sips pepper mint tea, rocking ever so slightly in her rocking chair. You also hear the faint sound of rain, because the apartment window is open. Your baby sister also giggles every once in awhile, letting everyone know she's still awake.
